While working with the Sacred Medicines, connecting deeply with the Medicine Spirits in their realm of high consciousness and full potential, Yama received several initiations and got the profound task to guide others on the path of Awakening. It is from this highly Sacred Space that she brings her Shamanic Plant Medicine Ceremonies and Sacred Toad Retreats. While plugging in this vast Medicine Space during her ceremonies, Yama becomes a mere tools of the Divine. It is not anymore Yama doing what she is so skilled at, all she ‘does’ is being fully available and co-operating with the processes that want to happen ‘through her’. From the moment she tunes in, her energy, breath, sound, vibration, songs and touch start creating a Sacred Space where miracles can happen.
Yama has the gift to reawaken and empower you, to free your energies and become aware of your intuitive inner voice, connecting with the pure and unique you, unlocking your potent inner source for spiritual growth and transformation. She came a long way to reveal her medicines, that she now uses to serve others. She was very ill and lost for many years, only to realize afterwards that without those deep lessons in darkness, she wouldn’t have discovered her medicinal gifts and she couldn’t be doing what she is doing now. Actually, it was a long initiation into her healing powers: going through great suffering, transform it, and as a result, become a source of wisdom and inspiration for others. By overcoming several ‘uncurable’ diseases, she deeply (re)connected with Nature and All of Creation, finding herself – despite herself – on an ancient Shamanic path, having access to universal spiritual wisdom and being able to transmit these transcendental energies into this world. Over the years Yama apprenticed with several shamanic plant medicine Maestros, deep in the jungle of Peru and high in the mountains of México. She underwent many rituals and cleansing treatments, so as to become an available channel for the Cosmic Plant Medicine Consciousness and the manifestation of Awakening Processes.

Ik ben bijzonder dankbaar dat ik in de baarmoeder die Yama met ons creëert, mag leren en tot mijn bestemming komen/stromen.
De retreat werkt nog steeds door en zinkt dieper in. Het heeft in mij heel veel in gang gezet en mijn creativiteit gevoed en meer geopend. Ik vond het een ongelofelijk mooie en bijzondere ervaring en ga zeker terugkomen!

Dear Yama! What a present! The process was truly magic! I could dive deep and face the challenging experiences, which revealed so well, what was keeping me still back in my life from making the next step! I came with an intention and it was fulfilled! Nevertheless, many things, which came up during these days, were not easy to face, see and feel! Not easy to accept! I had expectations and resistance, but your wisdom, understanding, compassion and love shined a different light on many things! I was deeply touched! At certain point, I started realizing, feeling and experiencing that there is another way! The way, which goes beyond the struggle and resistance! The way of softness, love and trust and it goes through the heart! It sounds so easy, I read and heard previously so many times about it and still I could not grab it the moment I really needed it! Now that I am home, integrating everything, I feel that there is a shift inside of me! There is something new! I feel inspired by you, your story, your being, your work and your devotion! I feel endless gratitude to you, the team, all sisters and everything what was there in work for making this possible! You are all in my heart.

Wat een rijke ervaring afgelopen weekend. Dank hiervoor. Yama, jij en jouw werk, en je team, zijn voor mij in Integriteit met een hoofdletter I, en hierin een inspiratie voor mij. Hartfrequentie en zielsverbinding heb ik ervaren. Ik heb ingezien en gevoeld hoe ieders persoonlijke InnerWork, een facet van de spiegel van mijn InnerWork, zijn geweest. En altijd zullen zijn. All is One. Ik voel me nu enorm in mijn kracht staan, en in rust. Powerful. Ik ben enorm dankbaar, en realiseer me nog meer dan ik al deed het enorme belang van het behoud van de Amazone en haar kennis.
Mijn Waarde, mijn Waardigheid aannemen…
Dat was mijn intentie tijdens het retreat dat ik mocht doen bij Deva Yama.
Ik mocht nog weer op een dieper niveau voelen, ervaren, doorzien, hoe ik “Instrument “ mag Zijn om te dienen aan het Grotere geheel.
De prachtige paradox van “it’s not about me versus it,s all about me”….
Als ik mijn grootste potentie mag, kan en wil leven heb ik op te staan, mijzelf vrij te maken van ideeën, overtuigingen die mij niet meer dienen.
Om volledig te doorzien dat het niet bijdraagt om mijzelf kleiner te maken, of groter..
Maar juist in alles aan te nemen en mijzelf te mogen ontvangen in precies daar Waar ik ben en Hoe ik ben…
En uit te komen voorbij alle beelden, verhalen, illusies,
Weet hebben dat ik een spiritueel wezen ben, die een menselijke ervaring op doet..
En dat het “de bedoeling” is dat ik volop, voluit mijn gaven en kwaliteiten leef en vormgeef..
“Herinneren Wie je ten diepste bent”, is een zin die al bij me is, sinds ik een jong meisje was…
Dat is waar ik een bijdrage aan mag leveren in dit leven…
Dat mensen zich weer mogen herinneren wie ze ten diepste Zijn..
Wat een rijkdom, wat een Groot kado om dit zelf in deze prachtige retraite nog weer op zo,n dieper niveau te hebben gevoeld, ervaren en belichaamd…
Ik ben er nog stil van…
En zo Thuis gekomen bij Mij … mij zo verbonden wetend met alles en iedereen, vanuit de Bron..
Mijn hart stroomt over van Liefde en dankbaarheid…
In de sacred space die Yama creëert, in haar diep belichaamde wijsheid, in rauwe puurheid, zonder welke vorm van opsmuk.
Daar wordt een land geboren waar de elementen samen vallen..
Waar je Thuiskomt bij jezelf en bij elkaar
Waar diepste pijnen getransformeerd kunnen worden in een oneindige kracht
Waar de zang, de icaros, de planten, de kracht van moeder aarde , de oneindigheid van de kosmische baarmoeder allemaal samen mogen komen in een klein Groots

Voor het eerst in mijn leven heb ik tools ontvangen waarmee ik het donker beter kan omdraaien naar licht. De muzikale begeleiding was fenomenaal. Woorden kunnen niet voldoende zeggen hoe meer dan ondersteunend de klanken waren, de liederen die Yama zong, de grote gong die op het juiste afgestemde moment voor nog meer verdieping in de groepsprocessen zorgde, indrukwekkend en doeltreffend. Een onbeschrijflijk samenspel van magie, klank en heling, wat mij vertrouwen gaf op momenten dat het tijdens de ceremonie lastig was.
De veilige bedding onder de bezielende leiding van Yama en haar geweldige team, en de directe link met de Peruaanse jungle, maken dat ik opnieuw voor hun zou kiezen.
